Nancy and I used to eat lunch with John when we all were assigned to SRJ. He was excited about having a baby. Hope the guys that shot him rot in hell for eternity.

Thank you for your service, you will never be forgotten. I have never met you, but think about you and the sacrifice you made every day I put my uniform on. I just read through each of these reflections and it is obvious you were a great guy.

To John and his family,
I am reminded of John whenever I loose a friend and classmate. I recently lost another classmate from LAPD.
John and I attended LAPD Academy in 1994 when i was returning back to the LAPD. John was a great partner, friend, and funny as heck! ALways made us laugh. I have our small class photo in our house and honor him in our household. Please know that he is not forgotten.

Rest in Peace brother

It simply breaks my heart whenever I hear of a Law Enforcement Officer killed in the line of duty. My roommate and former ACSO Deputy was killed in the line of duty with Oakland Police Department. I look back at my time with ACSO with mixed feelings, but mostly good memories of good people. I am so sorry for the loss of this fine young man....God bless his family and his young son.....

I was a police officer in the city where John and his family resided and had the occasion to spend time with Tami, their young son and others at the residence. Thinking their son would grow up without his Father impacted me. Years have passed but John and his family are not forgotten.
