I would like to offer my condolences and prayer to Kody. I watched the T.V show St.Paul Polce Department K-9's.. I loved that show and was so amazed at how thoses K-9 officers (dogs) protected there fellow partners.. I just feel so sorry for there human partners and how they must feel and how long it takes for one to heal after something like this happens to them.. I think dogs even if they are just pets to some how important they are to everyone and how it hurts when they lose a dog.. Believe me I had to put my G.S.D to sleep 2 yrs ago due to Stomach Bloat whic happened so fast and I could'nt really do nothing to help her it was to late and she was suffering so bad.... But I will be sending a card and hope that Chief you will be ok. And always remember no 2 dogs are ever the same so treat eachone different than the other...... I would love to send my 2 all Black G.S.D to you to train for about 10weeks for protection purposes only.. I worked for my Dept of Corrections for 15yrs and always wanted to be on the K-9 team but found out later that it took alot of butt kissing in order to get on ... And to sell alot of tickets to the upcoming election. And I wasn't about to do that I wanted them to hire me as far as my experience and because I have nothing but love for the anamals..

Don't Grieve For Me

Author - Unknown
Don’t grieve for me I served you well.
I loved you more than you could ever tell.
I am now an angel in blue.
I laid my life on the line for you.
I wore my badge with honor every day,
to keep citizens safe and out of harms way.
so when you see a badge worn with pride,
remember their comrades and friends that have died

Losing your K9 is Losing your partner. May Kody rest in peace and God bless you. I had to put my shepherd AVA down because of a twisted stomach. I was like a little baby, but she was my buddy.
