Officer James A. Henry and his partner were inside a soft drink parlor during their tour of duty. Three armed robbers entered and immediately opened fire. The officers suffered several gunshot wounds, Officer James Henry and his partner, Officer James Carroll, died as a result of the injuries they sustained.
