Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Police Officer John Michael Callahan, II

I will always have a place in my heart for you. I will never forget the look on your twin son's faces when I told them the news. Your sons have grown into such good men and you would be proud. Chad is the most like you in his physical looks and especially his mannerisms, sometimes so much so it takes my breath away. Patrick also has some of your features. I am sorry that they did not have you as they grew up but I know you can see them and you watch over them always. Your grandchildren are beautiful. Even tho I have moved on, you will never be forgotten by me. I married a good man and he loves your sons so much, you would like him. Always, K.C. Callahan-Aves

Time has not replaced you. Time has not forgotten you. Ihave not nor will I ever forget you. For twenty-four years not a day has gone by that you have not been on my mind. Every day I carry you with me. I have certainly missed all the times that we haven't shared. I miss you so much, but I see your face every time that I look at my children. I know that one day we will be together again so until then, I'll see you in my dreams. your loving son,
chad callahan
