Lord God of unfailing love, to those families in our beloved nation, the United States of America, who are suffering in the wake of the loss of a law enforcement family member, help us to provide support. Allow us to be their rock and fortress in a time of immense pain and uncertainty. Help us to keep them safe and nourished in their time of grief, suffering beside them as we move toward healing and reconciliation. Lord God, in Your compassionate mercy, hear my prayer. In Christ Jesus, Your beloved Son, and by His authority, I pray. Amen.

This Police Officer should not have died. Once this non citizen illegal decided not to follow the officers direction and fought the officer as he wants to live in a free country illegally my feeling is that an officer using a approved tactic that is not suppressing can at that point escalate this threat to the next level . Should have pulled his weapon and blown this dirtbags hip to pieces and gone home to his kids that night. This criminal would at that point have a better understanding of what happens when you do not want to live in a free country by the laws the rest of the country lives by

The true measure of a person
is not found in the
might of their arm,
their wealth
or their power –
it is found in the strength
of their character.

There is no greater testimony to
ones character, than ones
willingness to sacrifice all,
in the noble quest of
providing protection to all
whom they serve.

współczucia i żalu.
Wiem że nikt i nic nie wypełni już tej luki
w Waszych sercach,
lecz pamiętajcie że nie umiera ten
kto trwa w pamięci bliskich.
Przeznaczenie odebrało Cię
zbyt szybko rodzinie i przyjaciołom,
ale nigdy nie odbierze Cię
naszej pamięci i naszym sercom.”..Spoczywaj w spokoju Przyjacielu.

I have worked in Security at many events in St. Johns County including the Amphitheater, St Francis Field, The PGA Tournament at Sawgrass, and The Night of Lights. I have had the privilege of working alongside many times with the Deputies of the St. Johns Sheriff's Office. I have never had a negative interaction with a member of this agency. I was saddened to hear of this Deputy's passing. I know Sargent Kunovich kept the motto of Law Enforcement till His Last Breath! Protect and Serve! We in the Submarine Community never say one has passed. We say they are on Eternal Patrol! We the citizens of Florida Salute your service past, present and future!

Rest in Peace brother and watch over us. We will protect and serve from here on in your honor.

I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, but tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.
