Heavenly Father, I am grateful for the lives and sacrifices of all America’s Peace Officers. They died serving us. Help us never forget. Help us celebrate their lives and honor their sacrifices. Be with the families of these fallen peace officers. Comfort them and give them Your strength and peace. Guide us as we seek to take care of the families of these fallen heroes. May we care for them with integrity. In commemorating the deaths of these fallen heroes, help us also to remember that death is not the end. Death does not have the final say, but is simply the transition from this earthly life to the heavenly life yet to come. This assurance was guaranteed to all believers upon the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. We look forward to that life to come with joy and anticipation. Thank You, Lord God, for hearing this prayer. In the mighty and holy name of Christ Jesus, Your dear Son, I pray. Amen.

And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.” [Isaiah 6:8 ESV]

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” [Psalm 23:4 ESV]

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons [children] of God.” [Matthew 5:9 ESV]

Jim and I were married for 44 fulfilling years, raising 4 children. He was an outstanding Dad and Husband, who chose to stay local with his family rather than being transferred for promotions. Fair and Firm as Zone Sgt. and deeply missed by his family, including his 10 siblings.
With all our love, now and forever.

I always considered my Uncle Jimmy the “fun uncle”. He always knew how to make us laugh. I will always admire his fun-loving, kindhearted personality. When I was little, I viewed him as a hero because of the times he stuck up for me when my older brothers would playfully pick on me. Now, he is still a hero, but for a much bigger reason. His selfless actions as a first responder will never be forgotten. I’m so grateful for the 19 years I had with my uncle, and I know he will be with me, watching over me for the rest of my life. I will always look up to the remarkable person he was, and I will cherish the memories I have with him forever.

My big brother, Jimmy ....I miss our LONG talks, and walks over the Hudson. You loved God, our country, family, your community and any gathering where we could all be together. You knew how to get a party started , a parade started with your jokes, and other antics. You weren't loud or boastful, just an all around great example of what we all aspire to follow, and to be. You are dearly loved and missed. "I bet you're up there right now makin plans and writin out all your favorite places that you just can't wait to take us and we'll get to spend forever talking bout whatever, When I get there promise you'll track me down and show me around. I hope you know you left your mark on this world." xoxo

As an older brother, Jimmy was always one to give life advice and extend a hand whenever he saw you needed it. He was unbiased, open and so loved. I miss our conversations.

It was Jimmy’s dream to become an Officer of the Law. He once told me he was not a very good student in school, but when it came to studying for the law enforcement exams, he put his life on hold; all of his time and effort was focused on passing the exam. It meant so much to him; he loved being an officer.

Although he is gone, his memory lives on. He will always be in our hearts.
