A police officer should be remembered not by how he died but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family, and the Henrico County Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!

So sad & tragic, RIP Sheepdog. Back when I was doing recruiting I frequently saw Henrico Co PD folks at job fairs / career days. They were always very professional. May God bless & comfort your loved ones, as well as your brothers & sisters with HCPD. Well done thou good and faithful servant.

It will be a very sad Easter for the family of Henrico County, VA Police Officer Trey Marshall Sutton as they mourn the loss of this rookie police officer who died in a traffic accident. The Henrico County Police Department also mourns the loss of this rookie who graduated from the police academy back in February of this year. He will be missed by all of his fellow officers and all of Henrico County, VA and the whole Commonwealth of Virginia. This had to happen just too close to Easter.
