Gary worked for the department my grandfather worked at for 38 years. My grandfather was appointed to Chief his last 6 years. I grew up in the department and got to know Gary. As I got older Gary was a great mentor to me. Gary was a great man that could make anyone laugh and would give you the shirt off his back.
