Reflections for Detective Sergeant Randall Clayton French

Rest in peace Randy, never met you but a great friend of mine worked with you for the past 7 years said you were a wonderful person. People like this are the best, and you have to remember from what I heard, Randy had a advanced mathematics degree and worked for big IT companies like IBM, but choose to serve the people of Troy. Just a great man who will be missed.

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Troy Police Department. Our country and we here in the northeast are a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!

Randy was a great guy. Truly. A great dad and husband. Work ethic was unmatched. Smart. Articulate. Hilarious. A great leader and mentor to the cops. A role model to the youth in the youth organization he founded. A savior to many in his role as an EMS professional. He is going to be missed by so many people. I will miss you my friend.
