Heavenly Father, You are always faithful and quick to show mercy. Sergeant Christopher Brewster, of the Houston, Texas Police Department, was suddenly and violently taken from us on Saturday, December 7, 2019. He was Shot & Killed in the Line-of-Duty while responding to a domestic assault complaint. Come swiftly to his aid, have mercy on him, and comfort his family, friends, and colleagues by the power and protection of the Cross. We ask this through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; for He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one can go to the Father except by way of the Son. Amen.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons [children] of God.” [Matthew 5:9 CSB]

“And he [Jesus] said to him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” [Luke 23:43 CSB]

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” [Matthew 5:4 CSB]

Brave young man working a tough part of town made the ultimate sacrifice. Chris didn’t run from danger, but like a true hero, he ran toward it. We will continue to loose Officer’s like Chris because of the warrior spirit of American Law Enforcement men and women who bravely confront evil every day. God bless the memory of Sgt. Christopher Brewster and all the others serving within the thin blue line.
