This saddens me. God Bless Officer Colson's family and friends. I know he went directly to Heaven to be with God. What I don't know, like many others, is how this world has become so violent. How the police have become the targets-always being questioned on why we acted a certain way, or failed to act, who we "pick on" and the use of force continuum always under scrutiny....and then this happens and we lose a brother. There should be media outcry, but more likely than not, that won't happen. I am sorry Colson family, please know you are in my prayers.

“No truth can cure the sorrow we feel from losing a loved one. No truth, no sincerity, no strength, no kindness can cure that sorrow. All we can do is see it through to the end and learn something from it, but what we learn will be no help in facing the next sorrow that comes to us without warning.”
