Avenue of the Fallen

Standing at attention in their class “A“uniforms, badges gleaming and shoes like glass, are your brothers and sisters of Law Enforcement. All of whom have previously paid the ultimate price.
Today, like many others, they welcome you to this wonderful place.
As you march down the Avenue of the Fallen, all eyes focus on you as if to say “it’s OK, you’re with your eternal partners.”
A salute is followed and a tear can be seen on so many faces.
Welcome, you served well.
Now come join us in the ranks, another is coming home.

Dear Commissioner William J. Bratton, the family of Officer Holder, and all the officers of New York

I am writing to you to express my deepest sorrow and prayers for the loss of your police officer, Randolph Holder. Officer Holder was killed honorably in the line of duty, and I just want you to know how grieved I am for his ultimate sacrifice. The death of an officer is always a great tragedy for the family, department and the community he served.
I know the New York Police Department and Officer Holder’s family and friends must be overwhelmed in your time of grief. I just wanted your department and the family to know I am praying for all of you. Even though I live in California, it is a great sacrifice when someone is willing to put their life on the line everyday to protect and serve their city and the stress it cause for their families.
I pray for all service people every day and I will include Officer Holder’s loved ones also. I know his family will have a lot of support from the department and friends and now my prayers.
Take care, be blessed, and be safe.

With Great Respect

To The Family of Police Officer Randolph Holder

I am so sorry to hear of your lost. Words cannot express the hurt that you must be feeling. Please take comfort in knowing that we were given a promise at John 5:28,29 where Jesus said that all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out. This promise is real and will take place. I will keep you in my prayers.
