Reflections for Senior Trooper Steven J. Vincent

As a retired LEO I dread to see these notices...They seem to happen way to often lately...sadly.

To the family of this fine Trooper, please accept my sincere condolences at his tragic death. May he rest in peace...

And Thank You to those brave civilians who risked their own lives to apprehend the animal responsible for this troopers death.

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Louisiana State Police. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!
