Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Chief of Police Lee Dixon

This hits so close to home. My husband, retired from Temple PD, live 4 miles from Little River, and these are brothers to us. I couldn't hardly get the words out to tell him yesterday evening when I read the news. God be with the Dixon family, the small town of Little River-Academy, Bell County Sheriff Dept, and all surrounding communities affected, and God especially be with all officers still on the streets, please. It seems like the "bad" guys are starting to get the upper hand, and Lord, we need You more than ever right now.

This was a one man department in a very small town. That did not stop this officer from confronting a dangerous man when needed. Chief Dixon had only been on the job a month.
