"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God." I am so shaken up this morning, and write this reflection with mixed emotions. I carry a love/hate relationship with the badge. I love and respect the officers that selflessly sacrifice themselves to serve and protect our streets to keep me safe, but I hate waking up to the news that another officer has been slain in the line of duty, knowing one day it may be my own. God bless our officers it is men like you than make this word shine a little bit brighter.
