Officer Buenting called our Sheriff's Office just 2 days ago and asked our agency to check for this suspect in rural Aitkin CO, MN. He warned that we should use extreme caution and shared the details of the case. It is Heart breaking to hear that Officer Buenting was killed today while dealing with this suspect. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and co-workers. God Speed Officer Buenting and thank you for your service.
