The Badge
It is polished and shiny and looks so fine.
Once you earn it you have to tow the line.
The minute you wear it upon your chest
it becomes a symbol that you are the best.
It means honesty, integrity, and fairness to all.
Your life is never your own, but at the publics call.
Night or day, any hour, it makes you a mark.
It doesn't protect you from a shot in the dark.
Over the years the shine starts to fade,
but brighter still is the man its made.
It is often what seperates you from the crowd.
It is a second family of which you are proud.

Our deepest condolences to the Huffman's on behalf of our family. My family is in law enforcement and we lost a brother who gave the ultimate sacrifice on December 9, 1998. Our brother (DPS) was investigating a vehicle accident on interstate 10, Tucson, AZ, when a drunk driver struck his law enforcement vehicle from behind killing our brother. Our family will pray for Tim and may god bless each and everyone of you. Thank you Tim for your bravery, dedication and service. The Cruz family

To the family and friends of Officer Tim Huffman and his fellow officers

On behalf of my family, I extend our sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you suffered when Tim died.

To Tim's family, my heart goes out to all of you and may you find comfort in your loved ones and your strength in your faith. When my son was killed, the entire law enforcement community in our area embraced us in a circle of love and support, and I know you will receive the same support. It makes the unbearable less torturous, and I pray for your solace.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the dedicated service Officer Huffman gave to his community and the citizens of Arizona, and for the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on May 5, 2013.

On behalf of our family in Law Enforcement, we express our deepest condolence's to the Huffman family. We lost our brother (DPS) 15 years ago to a drunk driver who smashed into our brother's patrol vehicle while he was investigating another accident on interstate 10, Tucson, AZ. A day does not pass by without us thinking of our brave law enforcement officers risking their lives for us and giving their all for our protection. Thank you Tim, we will see you soon.

It is the soldier, not the poet, Who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the soldier, not the organizer, Who gave us the freedom to demonstrate

I hope this dont come off wrong or upsetting if it does delete only meant for comfort

God does not stop everything bad in life but there is a plan a purpose

allot of pastors refuse and dance the subject matters of death

but short of the story remember the saying we are all the lords sheep and he protects and watches his sheep

well the lord protected your loved on in my heart i believe he didnt see or feel just taken home

there is a time grieve to suffer but look and feel he is always there to comfort you if you just take his hand of comfort

then then after grief there is a choice do you let it be a bitter empty growing pit grow or chose to fill it with memories all the good you had all that that they were how special they were

if you pull the bushes of grief aside and look down and see the master plan

and always remember in you heart you are not lost or thrown out for cursing God he understands thats us grieving and hes always there to take you back when ready

sorry if that was off or preachy just meant to comfort his families Blue and his real family

i wish you well and the comfort of his family in blue surrounding a giving comfort

We Are All Family police fire Evan Security and alarm officers we have all sworn in one way or another to protect and serve people
