To the family and friends of Officer Jeffrey McKoy, his fellow officers, and most especially to Jeffrey:

We honor your service to your community as a law enforcement officer and you will always be remembered and revered. Rest in Peace.

On behalf of our entire family, I wish to extend our sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you suffered when Jeffrey was killed. May his loved ones continue to be supported by their law enforcement family and other police survivors. Our family grieves with you and for you. To Jeffrey's family, you are in my heart's embrace today.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the distinguished service Jeffrey gave to his community and the citizens of Oklahoma, and the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on May 18, 2012.

My thooughts and prayers are with the McCoy family today. The loss of any life is bad enough, but when someone losses a life while serving others it's even worse as everyone has suffered a loss. My God help this family and community through this loss and may everyone reflect on the life he lived.
