Reflections for Master Corporal Sandra Elizabeth "Sandy" Rogers

I WAS THERE LAST MONTH WHEN YOU LAIDED ONE OF YOUR OFFICERS TO REST. THE PAST 23 YEARS I HAVE ATTENDED EVERY FUNERAL OF OFFICERS KILLED HERE IN SOUTH CAROLINA. I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS JOB 27 YEARS, BUT LAST MONTH WAS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE SEEN SUCH A LARGE TURN OUT BY THE PUBLIC TO SAY THANK YOU AND BY TO A POLICE OFFICER . THE PUBLIC SUPPORT THAT I SAW THAT DAY WAS SO AWSOME. ITS CLEAR AIKEN LOVES IT OFFICERS AND NOW THEY SAY SO LONG AGAIN TO ANOTHER TOWN HERO. IT WILL BE A HONOR TO COME STAND WITH THEM TO DO JUST THAT. MY HEART GOES OUT TO THE CITY OF AIKEN AND ITS OFFICERS.

I would like to offer my sincerest condolances to the Master Corprals family, friends, Brothers, and Sisters in law enforcment. It is truely a sad day when you loose a Sister in Law enforcment. Although I did not know the Master Corpral however it is with great puse that one stops and says Oh My God. I know that the God Above will give comfort to the Master Corpral and the Master Corprals family and friends, as well as her beloved Brothers and Sisters in Law Enforcment.. Paul wrote in a letter to the Corinthians he said "Blessed are they that mourn for they shall find comfort." So tonight some where in the world a dove went free. I know that God has a special place in heaven for the Master Corpral for now in St. Michaels Squad of Arch-Angels.. May God Bless the Master Corpral her family, and her Brothers, and Sisters in Law Enforcment.

God welcome her with open arms and send her angel back to earth to help protect her fellow comrades here. I pray for peace for her family and friends. Maybe we all remember that every minute of everyday there is some officer of the law that is taking care of the unknown while we assume our world is safe. Thanks for all of the men and women who give their lives to make ours livable. God Bless.
