Pat was a family member, a friend, and a fellow co-worker. As such, I speak from the heart when I say that his passing leaves a huge void in the lives of many - in the family, in Blaine County, and beyond. Pat loved what he did, he believed in it and he was good at it. He was an incredible man, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, friend and officer. He was not just an uncle to my daughter and son but a mentor, role model and hero. R.I.P., Pat, you will be missed terribly.

Father have mercy upon the family and friends and co-workers of Undersheriff Pyette. God comfort his love ones and help them to accept this and understand. You are the only one who can give the real comfort, peace and contentment in a time such as this. Thank you, for this we ask in Jesus name, Amen....

He lived a hero and he died a hero. In the line of duty, he was serving the citizens. He trying to help someone else be safe at the cost of his life. Rest in Peace dear hero.
