Your heroism and service is honored today, the second anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. We will never forget any of our 9/11 heroes.

I pray for solace for all those that love and remember you for I know that both the pain and pride are forever. Your family is in my heart's embrace. Thanks to your friends for sharing their memories and devotion to you through their refletions.

For Police Officer Robert V. Oswain:

The extent to which any public servant places him or herself at risk for others is not defineable since his or she is the defender and the protector against all that threatens us - known and unknown. Surely the courage and the daring of so many who came to the aid of others on 911 has stretched the imagination almost beyond comprehension. What is known is that there were heros - in all the capacities of whom are considered public servants - and great numbers of them exits in police and fire uniforms.

We pray for their families, friends, co-workers and all who embrace them as part of what makes our nation great. May they reach-out to one another in support of all who were brave on that Septermber morning in 2001;

We proudly salute these public servants and forever hold them in the highest esteem for their selfless and most honorable sacrifice.
