Rest in Peace, Trevor. Its another sad day for the LVMPD. You did your job protecting the Las Vegas community and in the end you protected your very own family. I pray for your family, friends and fellow officers. Evil men do evil things and we will hold them accountable. But rest now in the arms of the Lord. Your memory will not be forgotten.

Another one of our warriors lost in the line of duty. Trevor was a warrior and he died protecting himself, his family, and ultimately the community from yet another group of young punk gang members driving around looking for targets of opportunity. Trevor, we will miss you. Everyone who knows you respected the hell out of you and knew you were a warrior, even before your career with Metro as a fellow Marine, and before this tragic incident where you paid the ultimate price doing what you loved to do, stepping up and protecting others. Semper Fi brother.

To your young family, I am so sorry for your loss, words cannot express the sympathy I feel for all of you. Having a young family myself, it is very difficult to think about what you are going through right now. Your husband, father, and son is a hero and will always be remembered not only by us on the Department, but all of his brothers and sisters in law enforcement.

Lt. Rich Forbus
LVMPD

We are so sad to hear of Trevor's death. My husband had the great privilege of being one of his Field Trainers. He admired and loved Trevor, and thought very highly of him as an officer and a person. Our thoughts, prayers and love go to his wife, children, mother, father and all his family. We are so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are also with his LE family, both local and nationwide.
