Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Sergeant Mark Thomas Dunakin

I just wanted to express my heart felt condolenses to the members of your Department and to the families of all the fallen officers. Just to let you know that the country is in mourning and we feel your pain at this time. Just know that here in Texas, all your fellow peace officers send
our thoughts and prayers in this great time of need.

Allow the lord to wrap his loving arms around all the family and officers effected by tragedy and keep them close to him. I know that when tragedy like this occurrs, we don't know why or how this happens. Just keep the lord close and ask him for guidence.

Thank you for your service and know that officers from all over this great nation of ours and the world, are with you in your time of need.

May God bless and keep you close to him.

Dear Sgt. Mark Dunakin's family, friends, and law enforcement brothers and sisters,

There are never the "right" words to get you through the next few days, weeks and months of grieving and mourning. As a law enforcement survivor, I can only wish and pray that God will support you and guide you to get you through this horrific time. We may never know nor understand why Mark was taken from us so soon. I will be thinking of you as you plan for the upcoming funerals, and even into the next few weeks as the awful reality of March 21st sinks in.
