It brings tears to my eyes to read of the loss of Agent Dittman. I honor his service and ultimate sacrifice. To his wife, daughter, and other family, I know God will comfort and strengthen you because He did it for me. May you be surrounded by people who will listen when you want to talk, who will sit quietly when you don't, who share in your memories, and who will cry with you. Jarod lives forever in your hearts.

I had the honor of serving overseas with Jarod, he was the best man in my wedding, and truely a great person to be around. The world has lost a wonderful man, but heaven has gained another angel.
Dittman, our unit lost a good soldier when you left, border patrol has lost a good officer, your family has lost a great man, and I have lost my brother.
May you sit with God in heaven, and watch over all of us.
I will miss you always,
Robert

I had the honor to have been in the same class (660) as Agent Dittman. Agent Dittman was truly a great friend and classmate. Dittman was proud to be in the Patrol and the day of graduation you could not wipe the smile off his face. The thing that stood out the most about Dittman was his willingness to be a leader and help others.

Above everything else, Dittman was most proud of being a Husband and Father. He always talked about his family.

Agent DITTMAN you will be missed, may God Bless you and your family.
