Reflections for Police Officer David Camden

Hey Dave;

As you already know, you're a hero. You wouldn't believe how many people love you and came out when your tragedy occurred. Even though many mourn, I celebrate, not because of your passing on earth, but because you are starting a new life and shift with HIM. Your life will be so much better and HE will see that you have been a faithful servant and HE will reward you with everlasting life. I will be at your service honoring you by participating in the Honor Guard. You just enjoy yourself up in Heaven and watch our backs as we continue to try to be as good as you. Tell all the other fallen Heroes that they are not forgotten.

Brother David you have served your community well, and now that you are in gods house you will have no more extra duty, no more stress but will be filled with His peace and will serve His kingdom with the same honor and glory you served here and will no longer face the agents of evil but will be with all the angels of heaven. Thank you for your service, God speed, rest in peace.

Dave it was a pleasure working with you! In the short time that I knew you, you showed me that no matter how your day goes you should always have a smile on your face! You will be greatly missed; you always raised the morale of everyone when you walked in the room. I never knew you not to be smiling and joking.

Outstanding Officer!!! I am new to the Department and had the privilege of meeting Dave during training. He went out of his way to ensure the training was a success so that the new officers would be better able to handle situations that may arise. He was a huge asset to Temple and will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his Family.

Words can not express the sadness I felt when I heard of your passing, it initially did not sink in until I had to tell my Wife of what had happended to you. I can not beleive that I had just talked to you the day before about motorcycles, and how you said that you thought you had cleared up all of the lobby calls for the day (due to it being so busy). I will miss you Dave, and will never forget you, and I truly no you are one of the good ones.
