I am so sad and sorry for this tragedy. My heartfelt prayers and condolences to your wife and children, to your family and friends and to your Police Family. Trooper Rich , you will never be forgotten and will be remembered in my daily prayers. Thank you for all your hard work for your dedication and for the sacrifices you gave in protecting the people of Indiana God Bless you as you sleep in God's Love and in His Arms.

My deepest condolences to the family and department of Master Trooper Rich. Here is a good man who obviously was dedicated to his duty and the protection of citizens. The death of an officer leaves a deep hole in society, and he will surely be missed by many. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
