To the family, friends and fellow officers
of Police Officer Lisa Beaulieu:
I am so sorry for your loss. I read these pages frequently, sometimes I cry and sometimes am just numb by all the names and their stories that are added almost daily. Those of us in the law enforcement community know what a loss you are living with. We know the pain and the agony, the feeling of helplessness. We also know the feeling of pride you have for Lisa. Lisa will not be forgotten. She was undoubtedly an amazing person who gave everything she had to her community. Hers is a sacrifice few make and most would run from. Keep her in your heart and she will always be with you. May God wrap his arms around each of you and comfort you. May every Officer who arrests a drunk driver think of Lisa each and every time time they usher someone into the jail and hear the slam of the cell door.

To the family and friends of Lisa Beaulieu.

We perform a thankless job at times. People take it for granted when we do something to look out for their best interest. Lisa Beaulieu was doing just that. We do what is expected, and think afterward how bad a situation that could have been if the worst was to happen.
Know that Lisa was doing what she loved, helping others. That’s why we do what we do.
God Speed Sister. You will never be forgotten. Rest in peace sweet Lady.

I wish I had words that could take the pain away, but not even time will heal this pain... just know that she is in a much much better place, and with time you will learn to deal with your pain a little better. My prayers are with the family, friends, and co-workers of this couragous officer.

Dear Parents,

Offering you up in my prayers is all I can do but I know from experience that being covered in prayer brings comfort, even when it seems there is no end to your hurt. I lost my son Charles Feb 17th in an on duty vehicle accident (Durham City Police Dept. ) and I grieve today as I did then. Let those around you hold you and cry with you. Your Lisa will be remembered always for the wonderful daughter, friend, and co-worker that you know her to be. God's continued love is a spiritual help to those who know him and is with us always in our time of need.

To the family of Police Officer Lisa Beaulieu, I felt compelled to leave this poem after reading how Lisa came to be a "SISTER" to many of us. Lisa may you have eternal life and rest in peace and to your family our prayers are with you.

"My Sister"

Although I never met her, I knew her.
She was idealistic and believed she could make a difference.
She was immensely proud of the uniform and the badge and what they represent.
She felt privileged to be of service to her department, her community and to her country.

She was a cop.

Although I never met her, I knew her.
She was friendly, courteous, and polite, yet firm.
She laughed and joked, but was serious when necessary.
She was competent, trained, and professional.

She was a cop.

Although I never met her, I knew her.
She had a strong sense of right and wrong and became
frustrated when true justice became sidetracked.
She felt the sharp criticism that goes with the job, but she never wavered.
She stood by and for her fellow officers.

She was a cop.

Although I never met her, I knew her.
She longed for her family during the long hours.
She worried about them during her shifts and the lonely
weekends, holidays and midnights when they were apart.
She felt guilty about the lost time, but knew her calling
and prayed they would understand.

She was a cop.

Although I never met her, I knew her.
She was a good daughter, she was dedicated to the profession and cared about the people she served.
She wanted to do the best job that she could and strived to be the best she could be.
She was a good citizen and a good neighbor.

She was a cop.

Yes, I did know her.
She was a cop, she was my Sister.
