When i heard about this i was praying that you will recover. Watching the news keeping updated. But god needs you now and your job here is done. You have been called to a better place. Your sacrifice will not be forgotten and you will be remembered of how you served the state.......
rest in peace brother you will not be forgotten

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.

Brave to the End!

Joe we want you to know
it was to early for you to go.
You were only thirty-two
with so much in life to do.

A wife and one year old son
whose hearts you have won.
Classmates and comrades too
are all proud of you.

You were part of Troop G
and trained as an MRT.
You took a vow to protect and serve
which you did without reserve.

A quick shot from a gun
and we couldn't believe what was done.
We lost a friend
who was brave to the end.

You past the torch to us today
and we won't let the shooter get away.
You are in our heart and in our mind
and Joe you were one of a kind.

Bless you and your family.
To Joe's family and friends my condolences to each of you.

Judgement Day for a Police Officer
.....Author Unknown

The policeman stood and faced his God,
Which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining.
Just as brightly as his brass.

"Step forward now, Policeman.
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To my Church have you been true?"

The policeman squared his shoulders and said,
"No, Lord I guess I ain't,
Because those of us who carry badges
Can't always be a Saint.

I've had to work most Sundays,
And at times my work was rough,
and sometimes I've been violent,
Because the streets are awfully tough.

But I never took a penny,
That wasn't mine to keep,
I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills just got too steep.

And I never passed a cry for help,
Though at times I shook with fear.
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.

I know I don't deserve a place
among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fear.

If you've a place for me here, Lord
It needn't be so grand.
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."

There was silence all around the Throne
Where the Saints had often trod.
As the policeman waited quietly,
For the judgement of his God.

"Step forward now, policeman,
You've borne your burdens well.
Come walk a beat on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."

MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOUR FAMILY DURING THIS VERY SAD TIME. MAY GOD EASE THEIR PAIN AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE AND KEEP YOUR MEMORY ALIVE IN THEM FOR EVER. REST IN PEACE DEAR BROTHER AND WATCH OVER US ON YOUR HEAVENLY PATROL.
