Reflections for Agent Wayne Muñiz-Caro

Such a tragic loss of a young husband and father. My heart goes out to the family and friends of Officer Muniz.

y he sido a veces violento,

Y a veces, El dios me perdona,
He llorado unmanly los rasgones.

pisado a menudo.

As I read the ODMP daily I am always saddened to learn that another officer has been taken and it is always much too soon since they usually are quite young. I can't imagine the grief being felt by this department since the circumstances are particularly tragic. I offer my prayers and condolences to all those who have been affected by this accident. As for his partner, I pray that in time you will be able to forgive yourself and continue to lead an exemplary life in Officers Muniz memory. Do not wallow in the guilt that this tragedy can present but rather celebrate the life of your partner by being the most decent human being you have been put on earth to be and continue to serve the public in your chosen profession. To the wife, daughter, unborn child and extended family of this young officer, I extend by heartfelt sympathy and the hope that you will put your trust in God and look to Him for your consolation, strength and peace. May the perpetual light shine upon Officer Muniz and may he rest in peace. God's blessings on all of you at this most devastating time.

We should also be praying for Officer Muniz co-worker and good friend, he was the one who shot and killed (accidental/friendly fire)Officer Muniz, they were best friends almost like brothers and from what I heard he is taking it very, very hard... Please, say a prayer for him and all his co-workers....
