To the family

Oh how great is the pain within my heart as I sit writing to you, for another brave soul has returned unto our Lord and Savoir. There are so many words that I wish I could share with you during this time, but I know that first you have to go through the hurting, before the healing can begin. Still I would like to take a moment to encourage you.....Mark has left this life to be in the presence of the Lord. and through the sorrow, and pain which all that loved him will have to endure in the days to follow, find comfort that the Lord did not leave you without a way to get through it, when you feel as if you cannot go another step, then reach. Reach for the word of God!, and hold on!!
Psalm 23rd reads:

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures, he leads me besides the still waters, he restores my soul. He leads me in the path of righteousness for his name sake. Yea through I walk through the valley of the shadows of death I will fear no evil, for thou are with me; your rod and staff, they comfort me. Thou prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. Thou anoint my head with oil; my cup runnith over. Surely goodness and mercie will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

It is my prayer that the love of God keep you strong, and his grace comfort you.

EVERY FEW DAYS I PULL UP THE ODMP WEB SITE AND HOPE THAT ANOTHER NUMBER IS NOT ADDED TO THE LIST OF FALLEN HEROS. USUALLY I AM SADDENED TO SEE A NEW NAME. TO MARK, HIS FAMILY AND THE APD I AM SO SORRY TO READ ABOUT YOUR LOSS. FROM THOSE THAT KNEW AND WORKED WITH YOU MARK, IT IS OBVIOUS THAT YOU WERE AN INSPIRATION AND MENTOR.
