I really miss that baby voice of yours saying, "Muffie". As I look back I am glad that two weeks before before your death we got to spend time together picking out wedding dresses. I remember you told Ebria that people who don't behave get arrested, he looked shocked. I keep hearing your voice in my head saying, "Muffie I am going to work and I'll call you back or you call me". When I look at Raven I see all of you in her. When she wore one of your dresses I kept thinking boy if Toya could see you now ( I know you are smiling down on her).

I just happened to fall on this site on today for some odd reason it just took all of my attention. I remeber the day it happened and it was in the news I cried as I learned a life was taken so senslessly. I mean i cried as if you were my sister, friend, or family memeber. As i read on today it will be 4 years and I pray for the strenght that your family (espically mother& daughter) may need to get by just for everday living. "Lord someone needs your strenght right now just to get by" May GOD bless you family, friends and co-workers !

Happy Birthday Toya!!!
I miss you still and always. I've read some of the other reflections that people have posted. Just about everyone talks about how beautiful and bright your smile is, AND IT IS!! However they don't realize that a smile as bright as yours can only come from having a big heart from within. Such as yours. You are truly an inspiration. If I could touch just one person the way you have so many I would be grateful. But to bless so many over and over again is just, angelic. I just want you to know that I still and will always keep you, Mrs. Linda and "baby cheeks" aka Raven in my heart and prayers.
To Raven I know that so much time has passed on that you may not remember me. Afterall the last time I laid eyes on you, you were just a baby. You are your mother's daughter, by that I mean for to be just that. Don't let anything, anyone, or anyplace stand in the way of your excellence cuz your Mom didn't. I had the chance to meet Officer Johnson in May of 2004. I want to send my respects to her family. I am very sorry for your loss. I only spent part of one night with her, and I felt the love that she had for her family and for life in general. She continues to be a positive role-model in my life.
