Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Deputy Sheriff John Wayne Musice

Far too many police officers have been killed in the line of duty this year while setting up stop stricks. These officers risked their lives so that even the fleeing suspects would not be injured or killed, and I'm very sorry that they lost their lives at the hands of these heartless animals. I am outraged about the death of Sergeant Mundy and Deputy Musice, and may their killers be put away for life so that their families get the justice they deserve. God bless their families, and please stay strong.

Thank you John for doing your job until the end. May God be with you, your family, friends and brothers in this trying time. I am sorry for your loss. You gave your life trying to keep others safe and you will be rewarded by our God. John, your family is in our thoughts and prayers. To the brothers: Be safe. Remember, we will see our fallen brothers again. In just a little while. May the Lord protect and be with each of you in the days to come. Love, your Brothers at the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

My condolences go out to the family, friends, and coworkers. Hopefully, one day technology will be able to keep these pursuits from ever happening.

Never forget.
