Your heroism and service is honored today, the 94th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. I am sure you are proud that your family continued your legacy of protecting and serving. I am also sure that you are proud that your family continues to live on land that has been owned by your family since 1853. Those roots are very deep.

Rest In Peace.

I followed in my great grandfathers footsteps and started my academy training on September 2nd, 1969. I retired from the HCDA's office December 31st, 2008 and live on the property in Bastrop County that has been in the Gray family since 1853.
