Reflections for Chief Deputy Sheriff Sharon Joann Barnes

Rest in peace blue angel.

S. Yates
Concerned citizen

Rest in Peace, Lady in Blue,
Our Father in Heaven must have needed you.

As you grace the Pearlie Gates so bold,
Now, you patrol the streets of gold.

With all the others who have passed before,
You'll wait for us at Heaven's door.

We'll take your watch you held so dear,
And trust that you will still be near.

Our Father in Heaven must have needed you,
Rest in Peace, Lady in Blue.

My deepest condolences go out to your department, and to the friends and family of Chief Deputy Sheriff Sharon Joann Barnes. Nothing can be said to lessen your pain. I know this from attending a friend and fellow officer's funeral from Tallahassee PD who was killed in November. Hold together and keep your Chief Deputy's family close to your law enforcement family.
NEVER FORGET Chief Deputy Barnes, or her family, for she is in a better place with God.
