Billy,
We are coming up on Law Enforcement Memorial week in Washington D.C., as well as in Richmond at DOCJT. Our FOP just had ours and I couldn't help but think of you. I just wanted to drop a line and say thank you for watching over us on the streets. You will never be forgotten!

Happy Birthday my love.....

May 3, 2005

Billy, Happy Belated Birthday!!! Just got finished seeing the Kaley bug at hers. She's more than the energizer bunny ever thought about being!!! And cuter too!!! But you can't deny she's your child. Every time I see her I see you!!! Phil celebrated the big 21. And Megan the big 16. I believe if I were to see you today you would have a few gray hairs!!! Oh but wait, I think Jeff has more than his share!!!! WE miss you terribly and think of you often. Kaley seems happy though. And learning such big words, knows what a flamingo, dolphin, octopus are!!!! She amazes me!!! We love you.

Just got done with Kaley's 4th birthday party.....4........It was just yesterday when you got that call....honey wake up, get to lexington,my water just broke....You got to the hospital in 15 min...I think that you were doing more then the speed limit. And now...........she is 4. You would never know that she has been through hell and back at such a young age. Kaley is the sweetest, loving little girl that I know.(must be my half:) )..I love and miss you more everyday.

Billy, I was sitting here thinking of you tonight and wondering what you, Joe, Bruce, Kenny and so many of my other heroes are up to. I know Heaven has to be an exciting place because you guys were always into something. :) We did our Jamaica mission trip this Christmas in honor of our heroes - Marcy went, too - and we had a blast. (By the way, both of us wound up breaking our toes. I'm sure you can just imagine.) You should have seen the faces of the children and the elderly light up when we came bearing gifts and ice cream. In our hearts this trip was dedicated to our personal heroes and, Billy, we will never forget you. You are talked about often and you are always in our hearts. Thanks again for making our world a better place to be.

Just wanted to write and let you know that I am trying to forget the bad day and remember your time here, that I knew you. I remember the great feeling that I got when you would show up on a call. I knew no stone would be left and no one would get anything by us. You were a real cop!

I miss you so very much. My heart breaks everyday to see Kaley growing, learning, discovering so much and to know that you aren't right there with her. To know that you aren't there to help, guide, play, teach her all the wonderful things and to show her your love. We all miss you and the days aren't easier, just we learn to move through the heartache. I love you with all my heart

Just to let you know we will never forget you, or the great pain that your family has been left with. I pray for them to find peace.

December 27, 2004

I love and miss you so very much. My heart breaks knowing Kaley will never feel your love, as much as I tell her that her daddy loved her so very much, she will never really know. She is getting so big. Smart as a tack and with such attitude.....don't know where she got that from..... Merry Christmas

December 20, 2004

Dear Billy,

It's Christmas week . . . . again. Our third without you. You're always in our hearts and in our minds, and we wish you the most glorious Christmas celebration. I couldn't help but think of you, and so many others, last night as I was singing "The Messiah" . . . . . you're right there with Him!!! The peace and the joy are unimaginable to us here on earth, but SOON, very soon, we'll experience it, too. We love you and miss you, Billy. Merry Christmas.

Susan & Louis

December 20, 2004

Hi Billy.... Thinking of you so strongly today. I'm in dispatch and we've got christmas music on. Makes me think of you, and how much you loved the christmas season, and how excited you'd be on what you were going to buy Prissy. It's weird saying another 76x
number on the radio again. Watch out for him, we all know he'll make a fine Officer. After all, he has learned from some of the best, and is still learning from some. You're still so sadly missed.

December 7, 2004

My grandmother came to join you tonight. I know you will show her around. Take care 762...

In loving memory of Billy Ray Walls:
Happy Thanksgiving from all of us
down here on earth who miss you.
No one has as many reflections as
you. Even after 3 years the hurt and
sadness are still there and I didn't
even know you. The pride and the
pain go hand in hand. Your memory
is alive and well and I think of your
girls often, too. I hope life is getting
easier for them, but how can they not
miss the most important person in
their lives?

Billy Walls, I know you sent JP and Amanda's triplets off with well wishes and blessings from above. Saturday's shower was fun and they got lots of stuff...only when I wrote the date down did I realize...three years...it doesn't seem possible, time is going so fast...prayers daily for Prissy, Kaley and the family. I know you are watching over us all....I can still see your blue eyes and mischievious grin...later
