It has been over 5 years since you were taken away from your loved ones by a sensless act of an individual who decided to drive while intoxicated and then received a slap on the hand from our justice system for what he did. The court doesn't think about the loved ones left behind and how they must deal with your loss forever. All the broken dreams and future plans and the grief suffered by your loved ones. You are a true hero and will never be forgotten as heroes never die. Keep watch over your family and protect them from harm.

Randy,
It is so hard to believe that it has been almost 5 years since you were taken away from us in such a senseless manner. I still miss you so much! I know that you are in a much better place than we are and that one day we will join you in heaven. You would be so proud of your girls and how they have bloomed into beautiful women. Jamie is much better, but still misses you so much. You would also be proud right now as you would be soon be a grandfather. Jennifer and Gabe are going to have a beautiful baby. Mom and Dad, Cathy and Christa still miss you so much too! Sometimes we have to just talk about you and remember all the good times. This helps when we feel so sad because you are gone. Jerry and Diane at the Sheriff's Dept still check on everyone and miss you so much too.

Randy, You were so much more than a brother to me. You always treated me as your own. You were always full of mischief and we loved it. You were a wonderful husband to Jamie, a wonderful father to Jennifer and Katie, a wonderful son to Mom and Dad and a wonderful brother. Your nieces & nephews miss you greatly. You were a great friend to many and you touched so many lives. There is such a great void in our lives without you. Although we will always miss you, we know you are watching over us always, and that you are in a much better place. Love and miss you. Christa

Randy,
You were such a special person. I'm so thankful that you were a member of my family--even though you did always give me fits, starting from the time you were in high school and I was your teacher. Little did I know then that you would become my brother-in-law.

Even though you would pick on me and embarrass me terribly--remember the Christmas calendars, you were always someone I could depend on. You had a heart of gold. I miss you and will never forget the good times.

Much love to a wonderful man,
Your sister-in-law, Jan

Dad,

I miss you so much! It is heartbreaking to think of the rest of life without you, but, I know you are in Heaven, and you have happiness that we can't even image. I'll see you again one day, until then you will always be the best Dad ever, and you will always be my "Buddy".

I love you so much!!

I was listening to my police scanner the night Randy got killed. My scanner used to be on nightly but not anymore. Randy Chancellor always had a special place in my family even though we were not related. Our children grew up together just as Randy grew up with my husband. There are so many fond memories when thinking of the Chancellor's. My oldest daughter and Randy had a very special relationship, one that she misses so much. The memories will always be with us and Randy left us all with many happy ones. To our "fireball" we say we love you and miss you tremendously. May God bless the family and friends of this wonderful man.

My sweet Randy,
You were such a blessing in my life. You were the greatest husband anyone could ever ask for.
My heart broke on February 28, 2001 when I lost the love of my life, and my best friend. I am so thankful for the wonderful 25+ years we shared together. I miss you, and will always love you.
Through the prayers of many friends and family, God eases our pain, and reminds us that you are resting safely in His loving arms. Thank you, Lord!
Love always,
Jamie

Randy, you were like a son to me, and I loved you dearly. You were always such a good husband to my daughter, Jamie, and such a wonderful father to my granddaughters, Jennifer and Katie. Though I miss you, I know you will always be with us.
Love always,
Mimi.

Words can not express how much I miss you, Randy. You were my big brother always either picking at me or helpings some kind of way. I worked with you for the biggest part of 20 years and cherish so much of that time. I only wish I could tell you one more time how much I loved you. You will always be in my heart.

Love You Always,
Lynn
