Officer Noblitt
It's coming up on 30 years soon...but it still seems like yesterday that I got up the next morning, like so many and heard on the radio what had happened. We truly lost a great man and wonderful police officer. Thank you for the years you protected all of us in Conway. You will never be forgotten!!!

I will never forget that night, the world lost a good friend and a great man. You gave honor the badge others tarnished, but they can never tarnish your commitment and bravery. YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN BY ME.

I served with Ray Noblitt with the 4154th US Army Reserve Forces School. I got to know him and admired him. I also worked with the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office and was sent to pick up a prisoner in Conway. Officer Ray Noblitt met me and released this prisoner to me. This was days before he was killed and I was 28 years old. I am 56 years old now and it still bothers me. God bless his family!

Ray,
You are sorely missed by those who knew you best and loved you. You were a great friend to me during the 3 short years we worked together as police officers. The love you had for your family was very evident, and the Christian example you set before those you were around on a day to day basis was also evident. You loved your Lord and worked hard at always doing what was "right". I miss you buddy and think of you every year on November 7th.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the twenty-first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

You are loved and missed by many, especially your family.
The pain and the pride are forever. Rest In Peace.

I hope one day full justice is rendered and all guilty parties held accountable. These circumstances must have been very hurtful and bewildering to all those who cared for you.

Fallen many years ago, but NEVER forgotten by those who care.- Betrayed by his own "brothers" ? Disgusting. What was their sentence?

It has been 18 years since Ray's death. I have to think about the many good times I shared with him. Ray was a christian man and was a very caring person and was loved by many. Someday all the guilty parties involved in his death will have to account for their wrong doings. I miss him.

There's not a day go by that he's not missed. I survive day to day because I know one day all responsible for his death will stand in judgement for their part. They won't be able to hide behind money or power on that day. Thank you for all the kind words left on this memorial.

I was a young boy when your life ended suddenly. I will never forget the impact that your absence left on the City of Conway.

You will forever be a hero in my heart. Thank you for all those years that you protected me as a child.

Rest in peace...

DAY IS DONE
GONE THE SUN,
FROM THE HILLS, FROM THE LAKE, FROM THE SKIES.
ALL IS WELL SAFELY REST,
GOD IS NIGH.

GO TO SLEEP, PEACEFUL SLEEP,
MAY THE SOLDIER, OR THE SAILOR, GOD KEEP.
ON THE LAND OR THE DEEP,
SAFE IN SLEEP.

LOVE, GOOD NIGHTM,
MUST THOU GO,
WHEN THE DAY, AND THE NIGHT NEED THEE SO?
ALL IS WELL, SPEEDETH ALL
TO THEIR REST.

FADES THE LIGHT;
AND AFAR
GOETH DAY, AND THE STARS SHINETH BRIGHT,
FARE THEE WELL; DAY IS GONE,
NIGHT IS ON.

THANKS AND PRAISE,
FOR OUR DAYS,
'NEATH THE SUN, 'NEATH THE STARS, 'NEATH THE SKY.
AS WE GO THIS WE KNOW,
GOD IS NIGH.

It is said that EVIL flourishes when good men do nothing.

To the family of this brave officer who gave all so that others might live, I extend my deepest sympathy and gratitude for your continued sacrifice.

To those of us who were left behind who still wear the badge, the mission continues... tomorrow is another Tour Of Duty... May God comfort you with the knowledge that you DO make a differance.
