Your picture found its way to me from California. After some research, I was able to find out who the picture belonged to. It made me sad to know that you were killed in the line of duty. I shared your photo with other members of our fine department today to reflect on your sacrifice. It has been over 83 years, but we have never forgotten. Godspeed.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 80th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.
