My 70 year old Uncle Lynn just told me today this is my Great Grandfather.
He said there is a memorial on the Will County Courthouse in Joliet with his and other fallen officers names on it.

Came here to to pay my respects to his honor and duty as an officer.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 86th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. I am sorry that your family did not receive any justice in this world for your murder.

Rest In Peace.
