Reflections for Officer Theodore Augustus Moore

Officer Moore,
On today, the 90th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just as a Law Enforcement Officer but for our Country as well when you served with the USMC as a member of the 11th Marines which saw action in Nicaragua in the late 1920’s. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 81rst anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to be among the first to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

To the Uncle I never got to meet- (my Dad, your brother Albert was only 16 when you died.) I remember your picture on a table at Grandma Moore's farm house. She always seemed sad to talk about you. My Dad & his brothers all look like you & your Dad.
I am proud of you & your service to law enforcement.
Rest in Peace
Barbara
