Well I am finally going to Washington for the services and seminars. It's time and I know your watching over all of us. I miss you and I always will. You, Mami, Pipo, y Dania me dieron todo el amor, carino, me ensenastes mucho, y tengo muchas memorias buenas. I am glad I was so blessed. I realized that we were lucky to have you for as long as we did. You all made me who I am and I am grateful. my childhood was more than anyone could ask for because of all of you. I Love You All. I don't show it like I show but I have learned to say what you need to say before it's too late. I miss you and I love you.

Emilio, I was a kid when you passed away, but still remember that horrible day. You died a hero and I am glad your family has never forgotten about you. I never pass by the mall without thinking about the sacrifice you have that day so that the citizens of Hialeah could be safer. While it is natural to leave when there is danger, you met it head on. God had plans for you in his heaven, this is for sure. He also needs good people around him.

May God bless you and your family brother.

Hi Emilio;

I just like to say 'HAPPY THANKSGIVING', this year I will be spending it with our son Emilio and his family; our daughter Jessica is taking the family to "Disney World". This week our 2nd grandbaby Jonathan and I talked about you, he asked me a few questions; he wanted to find out if "grandpa police was his Abuelo", and if I married you and then you died, they all know 'how' you died, is incredible even the little one. They all know about you, we do talk to them about you, so you see you are not here in person, but your spirit remains with us.

We love you and miss you always,

your wife, kids and grandkids.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 23rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Your wife is an amazing person who has done so much for other survivors. Your legacy of service continues.

Rest In Peace

Hi, today is Jovanny's 4th B-day (our third grandchil), all he asked for is toys. You would of been so proud of all of them; we talk about you all the time and if I say something about you, Jovanny makes sure to let me know "you know Grandpa police died". He is so sweet and caring, I do believe that either him or Joshua (our fourth) will be a policeman, Javier and Jonatha (1 & 2) are into sports.

well, just a little information about them

Love always,

Terry, wife

Hi Emi...today I am celebrating my Birthday. It's always been bitter-sweet for me. The last time I saw you was on my 12th birthday almost 23 years ago. I have all my childhood memories of you which makes me smile. I was truly blessed to be a part of the family. I was meant to be with you all. My last name may be different but my heart and soul is Miyares. I love you all.

Hi, remember when they stoled your High school ring 25 yrs ago, well I got it back yesterday, a retired Chief of Police from florida(not knowing who the owner of the ring was) called me a couple of days ago and told me he had your ring for a few years and that he has been trying to find you for the last year until he called our high school again and someone found your name (because of the innitials on your ring they found your name) after he called me and I told him that you were a police officer killed in line of duty, he could not believe it and came over our house yesterday 1/14/09(remember the date? we started dating 34 yrs ago on that day).. God is great, I have your ring back home again.

ps. thank you for the gift(the ring on our first date)...

I always see messages from your wife Terry on these web pages. I had no idea
that you died so long ago. She certainly has done a good job of keeping your
memory alive all these years. You were very much in love and it is sad that you
have been apart this long. Thank you for your service and sacrifice.
