I want to thank you and your brother for your selfless service and sacrifice to your nation and to our profession. I'm sure your family are proud as well but at the same time heart broken--not often that two brothers are killed in the same line of work while protecting others. Thank you and your family on behalf of your law enforcement brother/sisters in the mainland.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 19th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Era el unico hermano de mi padre el Sgto. Primitivo Marquez Alejandro. Ambos se convirtieron en policias para cuidar y protejer la vida y propiedad del projimo. Amnos, ofrendaron sus propias vidas como testimonio de entrega y pasion por su trabajo. Aun hoy, recuerdo cuando nuestro "Chegui" partio de este mundo a uno mejor. Pero lo mas que recuerdo era su particular voz y su insaciable risa.
