Your heroism and service is honored today, the 83rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. What an absolute travesty of justice occurred in this prosecution of the persons responsible for the death of four state police officers. Thankfully, God is the final arbitrer of justice.

Rest In Peace.

Sir, today you are remembered and thanked for your service.

How very sad it is that the City of Los Angeles and your Department have left no reflections for you.

Please know that this writer shall not forget your sacrifice
