Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Lieutenant George T. Miller

I have buttons from his uniform handed down from my grandparents, George and Eve Miller. George (my Grandfather) was given these after his funeral. I too was a police officer for 25 years.

I said a little prayer today for Lieutenant Miller and his family. He may be gone but never forgotten. He will always be a New York HERO.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 80th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
