Deputy Meyer - I stood in the State Assembly chamber when your name was one of almost 250 others read off during a motion regarding next month's Police Memorial Week. You are not forgotten. Thank you for your service to the people of Eagle County and the state of Colorado. May God grant you eternal rest and may His perpetual light shine upon you.

Deputy Meyer,
On today, the 70th anniversary of your murder, I would like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Eagle County. It took another 32 years, but the Denver Police took care of the scumbag that murdered you after he escaped from prison.
