Your heroism and service is honored today, the 71rst anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

To the Grandfather I never met. I heard many nice stories about what a great guy you were. I only regret not having shared some time with you. Your love for life and motorcycles lives on in me. Rest in peace.

Officer Mears, you will never be forgotten by your fellow officers. I have seen your picture many times hanging in the waiting area at the Chief's office. Thank you for your dedication to your community. May God bless you and your family always.
