Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 77th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

You are the grandpa that I never got to meet but was always proud of. You produced a wonderful man in my father Daniel McCue. I am sure you would've made a wonderful grandpa- your wife was an amazing woman and someone I was very blessed to have for a grandma. She was a blessing for my mom also since she lost hers. I wish we could've met here on Earth and you could've had much more time with all that loved you but I'm proud to say that you are a fallen hero and your my Grandpa. You will be very proud of the family you started! I love you!!!!

You were my Dad's uncle. I had heard that you had died in the line of duty, and today, on the day of the funeral for Officer Jason West, I happened upon this site. Thank you for your sacrifice, and may you rest in peace. P.S. I can see a little bit of my Dad's face in yours.
