Your heroism and service is honored today, the 77th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

Officer McCloskey even though I did not know you nor did your grandaughter we have both been overwhelmed by your comminment to the police force back in the day.
On 22-AUG-2007 your plaque was dedicated at the intersection of your fatal crash. I am the husband of your grandaughter and I just want to let you know that this was the most awesome day that I had the chance of experiencing. From the police motorcade to the site, to the color gaurd and the bag pipes. From what I have been told this has been a long day coming. Just want to let you know that everybody in your family is doing well which you probally already know and that your grand daughter is one awesome mother to your great-grand daughter.

Rest in piece
