Your heroism and service is honored today, the 82nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. You will always be remembered and revered.

You must be very proud of your descendants following your legacy of protecting and serving.

Rest In Peace

My Uncle Bill. Oh my how he was loved, and mourned by his Dad, Patty McCann...and his sister Veronica, my mother. Grandpa never got over his tragic and sudden loss. My mother loved him so, her dear and wonderful brother Bill.
I am so touched to view the tribute to him...to know that even tho the years have past, he is not forgetten and is honored as the hero he was. Rest in peace Uncle Bill, and tell God I said "HI".

Bill mc Cann,a Hero who paid the ultimate price a Chicago Police Officer can give to the People of Chicago.May he always be in your Prayers.

I salute my Uncle Bill for his unselfesh and courageous service to the citizens of Chicago. My mother, Veronica McCann Folliard lost her brother Bill and his twin sister, Eleanor Mc Cann Dunlap within a few short years of each other. The Mc Canns and the Folliards , including my own father, Officer James Folliard, have continued to serve the people of Chicago and the metropolitan area on the Chicago Police Department, Fire Department, the Sherrif's Office and the Oak Lawn Fire Department. It is a heritage of which we can all be very proud. God bless and reward you, Uncle Bill Mc Cann.
Love,
Mary Eleanor
