The great-grandfather I never met, but heard about. You were greatly loved by your family, and always remembered. You have a living legacy that I think you would be proud of. Your daughter Cecil was the best, sweetest grandmother a kid could have (although no one can figure out why she was given a boy's name). God bless you for your service and fidelity to duty, Eddie Maloch. I'm sure God has a special place in Heaven - close to him - for our heroes who have died in the line of duty. Rest in peace.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 96th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Rest In Peace.
